Thorns

It’s a shame you don’t know
What you’re running from
Would your eyes have to break tears?
Move away from all that’s wrong
And if it turns out we were
Allowed to carry through it, still going on
Would it mean that destiny could change,
That it could never be wrong?

Who Knows, it’s just a big mistake
To mistake adventures for roads
And we, who let go, all this time, it dawns
Through the motions that drift us
Straight towards the suns warm call
A victory to the games that we play
Not to waste a chance of grace

Told remarks of reprieve, hold faith
Like the wrongs are undone, well let’s see
Who let go, who starts, initiates all along
Same sad song, woe to all the water in the fog

Liberation, from weakness comes strength,
Strong, and Growth from the energies
Supplied all along, freedom is fresh like tracks
Footsteps, which print upon the ground,
How beautiful the path, no matter the thorns.
