Simple Surrender

Speak to me beloved, speak in the voices of angels, that man too can comprehend
Speak to me in languages of old, long gone past, like years spent amidst our warm Embracing grasp, resting head upon the other’s head
Encompassing love, filling oceans, upon worlds,
Turning the tides, head to tow, ebb and flow
We are two souls, set adrift, lost in love's bounty
Forever, names lost, never spoken or told
For we are each others name, calling us, always home

To the other's warm embrace, with the seas we roam
Or the sea salt upon the wind
Carried from beach to land, filling lovers, no breath we withhold
We are the sea and the wind; we are the beating chests, thumping
Vibrating to the bone
In tune and on key, like volumes of musical scores
Composed by the greatest seas, of orchestra's composition we are known
Yet idle like the listless bee we work, but make love, like the honey upon the comb

Our Surrender is but a gift, and talent of divine
Graciously allowing the love to seep into the rifts of spine
Surrender is the greatest gifts, undying love it rekindles and is kind
Makes the hearts of mortals melt, and even compels the worshipper upon the shrine
To make the beloved his own, or to his restless maiden, it stills time
For what greater gift is to the take
Then all the love that's rightfully bestowed upon the mind

The gift, the thoughts of the beloveds scent
As we entangled through the hilltop, we roll, and wind
Upon the flowers bed, petals and pollen spreading fine
Recapitulating divinities grace, pistol to stamen, soul to mind
Body to spirit, sight to eye, your touch soft, like feather kisses, placed, my hands upholding all that is our kind

The weight that both bared Adam and Eve, first creation, this we find
Amidst the fields of endless grace, gracing bodies, blessings, as the feast of each other’s bodies we do dine, like wine
Poured from the spout of fountains world
We drink and drunkenness signs, that we are fixed to each other's weight, the scale, is offset by our love sublime.
