Patience

“You’re not alone” falling back the eyes
fading swiftly, half fall, half push. Such
a daredevil. Into the evil, falling slowing
material catching up, quickening halting
to Earthly speeds. A promise was heard
to stay, but even angels break promises
the light at heels following behind, here
we go again. The crash hurt, like the hand
of a cold doctor on a newborn, wailing, yeah.
The weight seemed about right, although
incubated three days to rid the happiness
for certain. There were other souls around.
None were alone. One waited.
