Field of Roses

Envelop us in roses

Fall into center sight

With eyes deeply closed

The smell of delight

Sweet ravaging air

Of passion sincere

Fall deep into petals

Stay in center with me near

Think of me when gone

As if candle loses light

And relight me from ashes

Or flint by moonlight

Breathe in the fragrance

Of sweet enchanted air

As a field of one thousand

Flowers, us lost without care

Lay down with me, upon the soft

Textured ground, supporting our

Weight, and pinning us down

As lips softly cross the inches

Invest, in just one heart, devoted

Fashioned and set. Lock closed eyes with

Me, union our lips, like last good bye

Charged, or first venture skin

Missed, by the light of the stars

Bring me much closer in arms,

To feel the heat of your warmth

Smiles upon our shadows rebound.

Meet me in our ether

Half, and all the way

With laughter that shakes skies

And Joy bright as day.
