Cosmic Sanctity

The wind of the winter

Can lay itself down, you create

The season, and dress it with sounds

Add to it color and make it seem more

From the azure altering sky, towards

The lush Forest Floor, and when you just stare

It’s then I adore, the silence you take

As you take in much more, and If silence

Breaks, I break like waves on the shore, for you fill

Me with light, one million suns pour through the

Doors. Yet the windows you seize to the house

That’s my soul, are captured in bewildering thought

Of just what’s in store, a musical note may hold

A clef or chord, but you always present, captures my home.

You walk with the wind traverse and explore

Subtle as a heart beat, constant and sure

Soul lighter than snow, a reflection of all

Hope assured, a gift of unending

Worlds, the cosmos unfolds

Yet you choose this small place

To settle and roam, as I discover

Your essence, speaking volumes in tomes

Emptied of all thoughts, there is still something known

There is a lifetime of peace and sanctity flows.
